A unique window adds so much interest to a room. It’s a little out of the norm and draws your attention to one of our favorite things, the window. Then comes the fun part – how to dress this uniquely interesting window? Slanting angles, curved designs, varied sizing….the list goes on. We love the challenge and hope to help you choose a window treatment that is beautiful to look at as well as functional in design. These examples are from our very own Hunter Douglas and showcase the windows while providing essential light management and stylish design.
There are many opinions when thinking about using the color pink in home decor. Some may feel the color will always be associated with bows and little girls but these photo inspirations show that pink is versatile and sophisticated. Paired with neutrals or as an added pop of color pink can be a lovely choice for your room. Try pink out in a small dose and you may find you love the feeling it brings to your space. If you’re afraid that pink is just too feminine for your taste try contrasting it with stronger furniture pieces and you might find a perfect match.
We’ll start with drapery in a lovely blush pink shade. Although soft and delicate it still provides a grown up appeal that is romantic and feminine.
Choosing pink in a more vibrant shade allows for a fresh and elegant look.
